collaborates with the cantonal forestry services to collect data on the occurrence and extent of biotic and abiotic stresses in the forest, to provide information on the current phytosanitary situation in the forest, to advise the people concerned on questions of phytosanitary protection in the forest and to participate in the continuing education of the forestry services, the green sector, students and other specialists.
As the coordination of activities at the international level is becoming increasingly important, we also maintain an exchange of information with our colleagues in Switzerland and abroad. This enables us to act as an information platform and interface between research and practice.
We see ourselves first and foremost as service providers.
Since WSS offers its services (diagnostics and advice) only for Switzerland, the remaining pages of this website are only available in the official Swiss languages German, French and Italian.
